Letter of Support Guidance

Thank-you for agreeing to provide a letter of support to The Trout Trust, the below guidelines are suggested inclusions in your letter:

1. Include your organization’s logo, letterhead or name and address.
2. Address to ‘Government of Alberta’.
3. Briefly outline your organization (e.g., who are you, when were you established, membership numbers).
4. Outline your concerns, feel free to bullet point (e.g., Fish entrainment, oversights and lack of action to remedy).
5. Indicate your support for The Trout Trust’s existence and objectives (e.g., The group was formed to fill the advocacy void and to see the fish entrainment issue to completion, respectively)
6. Sign the letter and provide your contact details as the signee.
